Violence among children and adolescents remain one of the most challenging concerns for schools in the United States. Youth violence in schools is not limited to acute physical injury but also involves a plethora of mental health and substance abuse concerns. Participants in this workshop will learn strategies to cope with violence in their schools, identify non-aggressive problem solving skills and how to utilize community resources in efforts to promote peace and collaboration.
