This workshop will focus on the various aspects of bullying and its effects on a child’s emotional and social development. Several types of bullying will be highlighted including physical, emotional, relational aggression and cyber bullying. Attendees will be made knowledgeable of Baltimore City Public School policy on bullying and harassment. Additionally, the workshop will provide insight on the difference between genders as it relates to bullying behavior as well as highlighting family and discipline factors that may contribute to bullying behavior. Intervention and prevention strategies for both home and school will be outlined. This workshop is approximately 90 minutes. The length can be modified upon the vendor’s request.
